I'm Brandy Tyson-Cummings, a licensed REALTOR® serving North and South Carolina and the founder of Becoming Real Estate.

I believe buying or selling a home should never feel overwhelming. My mission is to replace confusion with confidence by educating my clients, creating organized systems, and providing a level of service that makes every step of the journey feel intentional.

Real estate isn't just about contracts and closing dates — it's about helping people build wealth, create opportunities, and establish a legacy for generations to come. Whether you're purchasing your first home, upgrading to your dream home, investing, navigating new construction, or preparing to sell, I'm committed to helping you make informed decisions that align with your goals.

My approach is simple: educate first, advocate always, and never pressure my clients into making decisions that aren't right for them.

I believe every client deserves honesty, clear communication, strategic guidance, and an experience that feels both personal and professional.

Outside of real estate, I'm passionate about faith, personal growth, health and wellness, fashion, and spending time with my family. These values shape how I serve others — with integrity, excellence, compassion, and purpose.

If you're looking for more than just someone to unlock doors, you've come to the right place. I'm here to be your trusted advisor, your advocate, and your guide throughout one of life's biggest decisions.

Let's turn your next move into your next milestone.

The business she built

Why she named it Becoming.

The name was hiding in hers all along. Say it out loud: B. Cummings. Becoming.

But the wordplay carries a conviction: nobody is born a homeowner. Nobody arrives already knowing what a lender looks for, how credit really works, or how much house their money can hold. You become that person, educated, approved, keys in hand, and Becoming Real Estate exists to walk you through every step of that becoming.

Building wealth. Creating opportunities. Establishing a legacy.

Three chairs, one table

The three pillars behind the promise.

Most people split this work three ways. Brandy built one practice around all of it.

  1. 01 · Becoming educated

    The Educator

Education is the spine of everything Brandy does. Before real estate, she taught high school, making complicated things make sense to people who'd been told they weren't "school people." Her clients never nod along to words they don't understand. Every step is taught before it's taken.

The teaching didn't stop at the classroom door. Some of her former students are now mentored by her in real estate, becoming agents themselves.

  2. 02 · Becoming approved

    The Credit Coach

She watched hardworking people get told "no" by lenders and sent away with nothing but the no. So she learned credit inside and out: score building, debt strategy sequenced for mortgage approval, savings plans and lender-ready timelines. Because "not yet" should come with a syllabus.

Her clients gave the work its own title: the Queen of Credit. And the credit program? Free for buyers who work with her.

  3. 03 · Becoming home

    The REALTOR®

The license brought it all to one table. As a REALTOR® with Real Broker serving North and South Carolina, the person who taught you the process and coached your numbers is the one negotiating your offer.

What she stands on

Faith. Family. Fashion. Purpose.

Integrity, excellence and compassion aren't website words to Brandy. They're the reason clients hand her their biggest decision, and then their sister's phone number.

Come sit at the table.

The first conversation is free, warm and judgment-free, wherever you're starting from.
